I was invited over to the Vulfix/Simpson factory last week and thought some of you might be interested to see some photos of the factory/production.
Knot making in progress - all hand formed and tied following the traditional Simpson methods.

Looking at some of the 2-band knots
Freshly turned Simpson brush handles (Eagles in the state of the art 'Walkers Crisps' box!)

Are Vulfix handles made in a different way to Simpson handles? Are either made by a pre programmed lathe to ensure each handle conforms to a specific dimension?

And are Vulfix and Simpsons brushes all finished in the same polishing drums? Just curious about the distinctions between the "old Simpson way" and the Vulfix way.

And is there a difference in the way Vulfix and Simpson knots are made?
