Walking home tonight - Mount Florida - Glasgow - do not know what this is about - good effort - walked down the same street last night - and it wasn't there. You couldn't not take its picture. The book recommendations - mostly - suck - Rowling - I'll leave it thanks - good if people read - but not to my taste - The Crow Road - decent - Brookmyre - used to work with him when he was a Scotsman journalist - when the Scotsman had journalists - unlike now - not just children that re-write press releases - his first book was excellent - but his stuff jumped the shark - some time ago. I.

Took this picture only a few months ago now at the Satchi Gallery - Tutankhamen exhibition. Although my photography skills are non-existent and the picture was taken on an old iPhone, hopefully it captures the exquisite work undertaken by the artist over 3,000 years ago. The small sculptures had a life like quality, almost animated, I have never experienced sculpture like this before. The exhibition was absolutely awe inspiring...

That's quite something - isn't it? A - slightly - disturbing mimetic quality about it. It looks as if someone just hit the pause button - and at any time - the figure could recommence its march. The modelling of the fabric and the musculature is exquisite - whats it made out of? - cheers - I.
