Photo of the day

Damn good question. I have just tried uploading some past photos I have had success with and same issue at this end.

The only problems I have encountered in the past were photos which were too large.

Time to leave a message

The picture was re-sized in Photoshop to 800 pixels on the longest edge - so that shouldn't have been an issue - I noticed that someone had issues yesterday posting a sotd pic - any progress your end? Cheers - I.

Excellent - we can post pictures again - thanks to the mods that sorted this issue out - cheers - @Satanfriendly - not a train but a tram - they both run on rails - much the same - I would have thought. Prague - things you can do with a Leica. M6 - XP2 film. Yours - I.

Indeed a very nice photo.

@Digimonkey (or anyone else for that matter) you need to watch a film called 'Kontroll'. A film entirely made in the Budapest underground system and an absolute gem.

@mpf9ret -

I had to rake through some archive images tonight - in passing - thought to post these on to you - Istanbul. A truly visually impressive place - Yours - I.
Thanks Ian.
That area will be our first port of call when we get there. We will have our daughter in law back there to finish off her contract, and our son is coming over for the weekend to tae us to a Fish Restaurant that they know.
All the Best- Mike

I have posted these two separately to the above for obvious reasons. Possibly two of the most notoriously famous entrances on the planet. Auschwitz and Birkenbeau really are the two saddest and yet most moving places I have ever visited. Highly recommended as a visit if only to walk away with a realisation of how valuable life really is.
