Infant bonsai Scot's Pine - the seed came from a bit north of Loch Treig - there is a stand of trees - just beyond the ruined steading - that were transplanted years ago from the old Caledonian forest further north. I was there when he picked up the cones - that was ten years ago. Not a hobby for people that lack patience. - I.

I gave my mother a beautiful bonsai tree that was about 30 years old for a birthday present and later on, about a year later I asked how the tree was doing and she was mortified to tell me it had died ( she had killed it)
I forget what tree it was but when I gave it to her it was beautiful!
:)

When did wreaths - year round - become a thing? The very word 'wreath' suggests death and funerals to me. I've lived most of my life in Glasgow tenements - which have a communal stairwell - the 'close' - you never saw door adornments like that years ago. The odd tentative Christmas one - then it spiraled out of control. Take the above - fuck me - I presume it's to celebrate Easter and yearly pagan cycles sold under new names? No sorry - that's just fucking evil - that wee furry bastard would take the eyes right out yer fuckin' heid! Fuck me. Dip yer pockets - pump yer ma. What were my neighbours thinking? That's me man - I'm aff the gear. Never again. Fuck'sake man.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: - I.
