The light has shifted from autumn to winter. An even lower angle and diminished intensity but clean and full of texture. Delicate and fleeting. - I.

Yeah, I saw in the news it had risen again.

The Sammy Smiths pub (where the water is up to the door) is very used to it. It dries out for the spring/summer period.

That car parked at the top of the rise is being brave ... or hoping for an insurance claim?

Or just being plain stupid.

I think they are quite used to having several feet of water in their properties down by the river front
