Peaky Blinders

I really enjoyed the series, well made but I very much doubt there were ever such a mob called the peaky blinders.

They're quite a well known urban legend here in the Midlands. My grandad had talked of them as had my girlfriends elder family members.

They were definitely a real gang, but as far as I can tell the story is very loosely based on true events if any at all. It could just be a complete fabrication based on the gang.

The papers here in the Midlands did quite a lot on the subject at the time of the programs airing.

Some how managed to miss this TV programme for the last 5 years. God knows how.

Just started watching from series 1 on Netflix. Bloody magnificent programme! Plenty of my home town used for filming too!

i agree i watched all of them over Christmas.....and from a man that doesn't watch tv i thought it was brilliant

I happen to find the twist of the final season (last scene with Adrian Brody) pretty poor... The screenwriters have made something too big, so they ruin the plot in 5 minutes in the last episode of season 5.
