Password managers

Apparently October is the cyber-security month. Been reading a couple of interesting articles about password managers. Made me think I should have one.

Any experiences on TSR with a password manager? I'm sure they are secure; however, can't stop thinking that having all passwords in one place is a vulnerability.

I use a password manager for most of the sites I visit......but anything financial uses crazy length randomly generated passwords which I have to enter manually. A pain.....but I think more secure

I use keepass - it's open source and free. Not quite as slick as some but works well.
I don't bother using it for sites like this, just the financial / sensitive ones.

I use 1password for all sites with logins. And a randomly generated 24 caracter long password and if possible combined with 2 factor authentication. I think it's nessesary - even with this site. If you use BST your PM's likely has some personal information, that you would not like to be disclosed.

I have a notepad with all my passwords in it. I use random words and numbers

I have been using LastPass for the last 10 years - with over 400 passwords to remember, it makes sense to use a password manager - else you end up using the same/similar password for multiple sites.
I thoroughly recommend LastPass.
Try it, here: https://lastpass.com/
