Lovely shave today! The razor was very comfortable and mild, just as I like it! It is lighter than my Rockwell and the handle is longer, but it takes the whole of 25 seconds to get used to. Now I'm even considering getting one for myself!
Thanks for the opportunity to try it!

One thing to look out for is the logo at the bottom of the handle.
It seems to be missing quite often - our Krona doesn't have it anymore.
It's hardly noticeable and doesn't change the way it shaves, but given the choice, I'd get a complete one.

I've noticed it was missing.
If I buy one, I will look for one that is complete.
Is there a difference between the ones with the Krona text on the barn doors and the ones without? I'd imagine not.

I'm not sure if there is any difference in how they shave. I've only ever used the one you have now.
I think the ones with the writing have a black knob, rather than silvery.
There are some interesting threads on Badger and Blade:

Great razor! I liked it, but not enough to get one for myself. I can't reach under my nose and I had issues with the blade overhang. I even nicked my nose with it. Otherwise it is a very nice nice razor, smooth and probably on the mild side, I would say similar to Rockwell R2, maybe a little bit more aggressive than that.
Who wants to try it next?
In two weeks I am starting a training course abroad that will last for five weeks. It will be close to impossible to get to the post office.
