The Krona landed safely with me today. I look forward to giving it a spin tomorrow morning.
Thanks, Barry.

First shave with the Krona this morning and it was a cracker. I have been fortunate enough to use 7 or 8 razors from the lending pool in my relatively short time on TSR and ATG. Of those razors I instantly fell in love with 2. The Fatboy and the Brass General. Of course I had to track down and buy these. The Krona is up there with those two. I like the way it looks and it feels perfect in the hand. It is comparable with a Gillette Tech in terms of mildness. But I would say it's a touch more efficient. Paired with a Gillette Silver Blue I was pretty much BB smooth after two very comfortable passes. Just minor touch ups required. I'm mighty impressed.

I have had a further two shaves with the Krona using a Gillette Silver Blue and I continue to be mightily impressed. There is hardly any blade feel at all but the razor is very efficient. It's a joy to use. I will have a couple more shaves with a different blade and then pass it on.

I have been a little reluctant to use a Feather blade since my early days of traditional shaving, but I thought I would give one a go in the Krona. And two excellent shaves were had. Once again, I was most impressed by both the comfort of the shave, and with the razors efficiency. I like the Schick Krona a lot!

Thanks to @Steve Bowles for making the razor available, and to @riverrun for organising the pass around.
I will post the razor on to @Bikerjohn tomorrow morning.

Please can you add me to this list too.

Many thanks,
Dan

Sorry I've not been updating recently, a few life issues have been getting in the way. However, I've had a few shaves with the Krona with different soaps and blades and it's been a very pleasant experience indeed. On the subject of blades though, I now exclusively use Gillette Silver Blue, Nacet & Rubies and all three perfectly suited this razor. This would suit an experienced DE shaver and beginner alike and would recommend picking one up if reasonably priced.
I'm all done with the Krona, thanks for giving me the opportunity to try it out. PM sent to @fixedwheel

Time for me to pass the Krona on.

Andreas / @riverrun I am tagging @AndyMc133 as he appears to be next on the list.

What can I say about the Kron? Well, it is a great razor, I find it relatively mild, but still quite effecient. I think the only reason that I haven't used it more in the fortnight is that I've been looking, guiltily, at the purchases I've been making in BST. I think it would make a great daily driver, as you can get a very decent 2 pass in quickly and safely, and that is what I need when I'm half asleep!

Thanks again to @Steve Bowles for his genorisity of putting the Krona into the lending pool, and Andreas for keeping the Lending Pool on track.

John
