Thanks to the generosity of @Steve Bowles I can offer a pass around of a Schick Adjustable injector razor.

So you have heard of those mythical injector razors and are wondering what they are like and if they work for you, but you don't want to invest in a razor and a bunch of blades just to find out you don't like them? Here's you chance. Try one for free.
If you're new to the whole pass around malarky and want to know more, you can have a look at this article. Don't be scared by the length of the aticle. I tried to cover every possible angle. It's all quite simple, really.

Here are the rules:
This pass around is open ended. The list will not close. Once the pass around is ‘finished', the razor will come back to me (or stay with the last recipient), but it will be sent out again to anyone who is interested in trying it.
Shipping is by ‘signed for' delivery. Second class will do. You send the tracking number to the recipient and to myself (@riverrun).
You are responsible for the razor from the time you receive it until the time the next person signs for it.
Use the razor as much as you like, but don't hog it and pass it on when you're done with it.
If you already have injector blades, please use those. If you have spare blades feel free to add them to the pass around. There will be some Schick and some Personna blades included in the pass around. Don't get overly excited if you see a NOS Schick Twin injector magazine. The blades in it are actually Personna blades.
When you receive the razor there will be a blade in it. It will be a used blade from the previous person, as loading a blade into an injector without a blade is a pain. When you receive the razor clean it and put a new blade in it.
Here's a video showing how to put a new blade into an injector razor. You might want to turn the volume down.
I recommend using Barbicide to disinfect the razor.
Let us know how you get on with the razor. Share your experience.
When you are done using the razor and are ready to pass it on, please clean the razor. Nobody really likes handling a dirty razor. Please DO NOT REMOVE THE BLADE!.

So, who's interested?

Could I please be added Andreas?
Best wishes, Richard
You sure can, Richard.

Come on guys. Try one of the easiest to use and most forgiving (it's adjustable) Schick injectors for free. No need to form an orderly queue. I'll take care of that :p

I'd be interested if I hadn't already bought one from you :)
The one you bought from me is a stunner. As good as new (I bought it NOS). I sometimes wonder why I sold it. Boxed. With instructions. Shiny. Shiny. What was I thinking? Sigh.
Ah yes... I was thinking that I should buy another Schick N3, but I missed out...
I hope you enjoy it.

Hiya,

Some things to keep in mind about injectors that may help. First thing is it will probably take a few shaves to figure out the angles and pressure and stuff like that. Not the same as DE shaving. Yeah, these things are light and bearing down can be needed in spots.

Give yourselves the best chance for the right shave and try multiple blades. They can make a difference, sometimes quite a bit. Watch closely as you load a blade. Any edge rubbing on metal is whatcha call bad. If your first shave feels pretty rough, try one more blade and see what's up. Being the first time there's no reference point to what a good blade is, having never used any before. Hah, just like DE thing.

I'm sure this razor is fine, but with others y'all may buy, check that the blade gap's even with the safety bar and the adjuster works right. Oh, maybe start on #3-4 for a few shaves and take it from there.

The bad blade situation happened to me just recently. I had loaded a fresh blade and saw what I thought might have been a problem. This old F type can be tricky to get right and takes a little contorting. This is a blade I am real familiar with.

Soon as I started my first pass I knew something was wrong. Strange pulling, and a weird sound too. Right then I tried another blade and it was perfect. Nice having that experience to draw on.

I would be surprised if this razor doesn't grab most of you. One of the better overall designs regarding looks and feel, with the adjustable feature that does work.

This is a real nice offering for the usual suspects.

Thanks for the useful hints, Martin.
Hiya,

The angle is easy to find (as always). Put the head on the back of your hand or your arm with the handle sticking out at a right angle, then gently move the head of the razor while lowering the handle slowly. As soon as you can feel the blade you've found the right angle to start shaving with. Take it from there. I personally don't use any pressure with any of my injectors. YMMV.

Any edge rubbing on metal is whatcha call bad. If your first shave feels pretty rough, try one more blade and see what's up. Being the first time there's no reference point to what a good or blade is, having never used any before. Hah, just like DE thing.
There will be both Schick blades and Personna blades in the pass around. From my experience both work well.
I'm sure this razor is fine, but with others y'all may buy, check that the blade gap's even with the safety bar and the adjuster works right. Oh, maybe start on #3-4 for a few shaves and take it from there.
That's why the razor is coming to me first. I have owned a Schick adjustable and know what to look out for. Let's hope the razor passes the QA :p

The razor is now on its way to me... I'll only use it once, making sure it shaves the way it should and then pass it on...
