Closed Pass Around: Hone Type 15 - Completed

@Darkbulb not a dumb question at all. The 15 denotes the year that I fixed the final geometry. I batch manufacture, so a new batch is a chance to introduce changes from feedback or refine. If/when I make changes to the geometry those razors with be tagged with that year number so for instance next year would be the Type 16. If no changes are made the number stays the same. This hopefully makes it very transparent which version is which, as well as when it was made. I'm not keen on product names staying the same when in fact its an entirely new product, or different somehow because of the factory it is made in or the year etc. Based on the changes I might also make two types at the same time, because it offers something different rather than being an evolution.

The Type 15 don't have a number on them as they are the first, but subsequent versions will have the number clearly visible (I'm thinking the base of the handle and the inside of the head)
 
Hi @Bechet. Not a bad idea, I quite like it. I do have plans for a naming convention that carries letters also so the Type 15-S or 15-L but they weren't planned on length. 1500 could work for a longer handled version... (edit) also not ready for production yet ;) its on my 'post-it' to do list.

The 100mm would be the 15-B for Bechet or Big of course ;)
Or the 15-C for Carl or Centurion...
 
Uh oh! I have felt in love with this beauty and I really would like to test it!
