OK, I'll admit it, but it's not jealousy (that's what you feel about something you possess and you don't like anyone else having it). No, envy is what you feel when someone else has something that you want, and the closest I could find was .
But, in fact, I don't feel envy either ...I just feel like :poop:

Just a few minutes on Connaughts is all it takes to ease the pain :p

Hi wondering if there's a Gillette super adjustable 84 or 109 that I could try before trying to find one to buy ?
Also looking for a nice soap to try , love the smell of the new lynx leather and cookies shower gel and looking for something along that line to buy
I have a tube of Lea and Palmolive soap and La Toja shave stick and Astra blades that I can contribute to the trial box

First shave with Polsilver stainless was a disaster. I used all settings and the shave was anything but comfortable. It felt like the blade was chattering a lot. I have to say I was disappointed.
Today I tried a Gillette 7 O'Clock yellow and I got an excellent shave on setting 5. It is a lovely little razor with a good heft. Upper lip is a bit problematic because of the shape of the head, but far from a deal-breaker.

Just a guess:
Make sure to give the handle the final quarter turn when closing the head.
Failure to do so could lead to blade chatter.

I had the same experience with Polsilver blades, they just do not suit me at all. Awful shaving experiencing. Felt blunt from the off and I could not understand why, I tried a few types, vintage and new, in a few different razors, for me, they were all as bad as each other.

Those are usually my go to blade, together with the Wizamets. They work for me in all razors generally... Smooth and sharp..

Sorry bud, I thought you meant it was 1st time used.
I get on really well with the Wizamets, I tried all kinds with the Polsilvers, just could not get a shave outta them. I always had a great finish but the actual shave experience was tuggy and the razor seemed to be skipping throughout the shave. It is the only blade I have had problems with. Strange this shaving malarkey.

Not to worry my friend. Are you talking about these?

Those and the Blues. I tried different vendors as well, I ended up with 200 polsilver blades I had to shift.
The Wiz SI's seem totally different, these I get on with very well.
