Closed Pass around: Black Standard Razor

I have just noticed that there hasn’t been a Standard razor pass around yet, unless I’m mistaken.

(Image not embedded due to "Internal Server Error"... sigh...)

At 48 grams It is a fairly lightweight razor, “machined from aircraft-grade Aluminum” according to their web site. Whatever this “Aluminum” stuff is ;) This razor opened my eyes to what DE shaving can be like. I love it.

There have been a couple of threads about this razor on the forums here, like:
http://theshavingroom.co.uk/community/index.php?threads/standard-razor-a-revelation.26707/
http://theshavingroom.co.uk/community/index.php?threads/standard-razor.31112/

I have a black Standard razor that I’m willing to pass around here (minus the stand - too heavy, doesn’t change the shave). It’s a chance to try it before it goes on sale at Massdrop again. Also a chance for @DevonStan to try the razor he sold me without even trying it (although I know you rectified your mistake since).

Normal pass around rules apply: The razor is your responsibility from the moment you receive it until the next person receives it. You break it, you buy it. Make sure it is thoroughly clean and shave ready when you pass it on. Use at least ‘signed for’ delivery when passing it on. Enjoy the shave and let us know what you think.

I know many members here already have one, but who doesn’t and is curious?

A fine and good act of kindness. And great timing for the the uncertain members wondering whether to tempt fate courtesy of HMRC and RM (Actually I think we're agreed that hardly any of us got hit for the Standard...but more us got hit for more valuable items).

I'll absent myself from this one for obvious reasons but recommend others to get stuck in.

Great work.

I was only thinking of a standard passaround after signing up for the Muhle OC. I've already got one so I'm not in, but I can highly recommend it as a mild and efficient razor to anyone thinking of giving it a go. It also looks great in black.
