palmolive stick DISCONTINUED !!!!

Erasmic stick(s) were really bad.
Very old/vintage ones are good, I am talking about the late ones. In the past 5-6 years changed packaging and formula but very difficult/almost impossible to get a nice, slick, cushioning lather. Stick and Bowl soap formulas are different, the soap in the bowl is good.
Get some vintage, good stuff

Say, does that Just For Men hair coloring work, ol' timer? :D ;)
The local independent British chemist is fairly rare sight now days, usually you find these in small towns or at the back street of the larger cities. Hat off to whoever stock something other than Axe and dear old Mr Beckham. More pics of the same shelve for your enjoyment.

Now that is a proper mens section! Hats off to your chemist, it puts the bigger stores to shame!

That's a great selection! I only have the Well pharmacies near me and they don't stock any classic shaving products. I've wanted to try Ingrams, Erasmic and WS stick but they so expensive online given their normal price. I'll keep my eyes open next time I'm in the depths of Devon and Cornwall for a pharmacy like that.

Palmolive sticks have been made in Germany for years, so that email from Colgate isn't really news. Just because a product is made abroad, doesn't mean it isn't sold in the UK.

Now if they said they were stopping manufacture of it completely then I'd be worried :)

Still available in Asda, Wilko and superdrug...

Or am I missing something here?!

Used to be everywhere Along with that horrible Wilky blue bowl c**p And those plastic wilky brushes, Well my local Superdrug has none but local private pharmacy has them on clearance offer at 50p a go I asked why on clearance and she said it just a slow seller but said ordering more was not an issue if I needed bulk ??? so anyway just in case I bought 25. And 4 tubes of Cream to ensure I have plenty for a bit of uberlthering I have only used palmolive trumpers coconut cream, and proraso for the last few years I sold all my other soaps
