palmolive stick DISCONTINUED !!!!

After seeing this thread, I was fortunate enough to be working that day near a Superdrug in Uxbridge. Ducked in an picked up 4 sticks at 75p per stick. That should see me through for years to come given it's just one of many soaps I have on the shelf.

Ironically, since this thread surfaced I have used an old stick three times. It really does actually lather & shave as well as high falutin' artisan soaps.

Palmolive is good stuff. I prefer Speick but it's a solid and reliable soap that just gets the job done. I think I have about eight sticks in reserve so I'm good for a while.

For those who haven't tried it the Speick (orange) tallow stick is simply fantastic. It has it all and the smell is like no other, clean, crisp and soothing. I have but a tad left and need to replenish.

IMO, Speick and Wilkinson (the blue stick) are pretty similiar for the lathers they create but Speick has the most pleasing scent to my nose anyway, it's a a truly superb shaving stick.

Mine’s getting down to the nub, ordered two more this afternoon. I’m going to try grafting the nub of the old stick onto the new one so none's wasted.

Where's a reasonable place to buy Speick from in the UK? I can't being myself to pay the prices on Amazon and eBay!
