Having decided to give Injectors a go , I have been acquiring a few . Earlier in the week I got a PAL injectomatic from USA. Yesterday I got a cased one , made in England. It has similar head markings to its American cousin , but the handle which is a bit Schick like , has longitudinal spines on the back of the handle.

The blade injector is gold coloured, and still contains some unused blades , which i may try.

I was thinking maybe we should start an Injector Party Thread around here so folks can post their Daily shaves, experiences & share Intel about blades and models N Stuff...If there was 12 0r 20 very active people on board which I am sure there is about TSR it would be a busy wee thread ...What Do you think or anybody else for that matter ?

Hi Billy,
Currently am trying out injectors for the experience, but honestly think I might well in the future err towards use of my ER/Gems. Think your idea maybe a bit too specialist a thread in this forum . SOTD covers all types, and I do look at most accounts of SE Shaves . and threads relating to SE Razors. I also look at more specialist SE forums for info, much of which is provided by your goodself.

Greetings

I own three PAL Injectors and whilst I am 100% happy with the Personna blades in all of my several Schicks I have to admit that in the PAL's they certainly give me a rough shave, very close but not hugely pleasant. I have tried a Gillette Plat. Plus and also an old Personna Plat. coated blade I have to admit that they seemed to take some of the unpleasant 'bite' out of the PAL.

I know that lately PAL injectors seem to be getting a lot of very positive reviews on both this and the Single edge forum (TOST), three years ago nobody seemed to like them and they were not worth tuppence, it's strange how views change, or is it more of a trend thing ie at the moment PAL,s seem to be in vogue?

I have to say that I personally would sooner own and shave with any Schick model from the G onwards then a PAL injector with any blade, this especially applies to the PAL Adjustable which for me is a difficult and 'tricky razor', all safety razors have ,what for want, of a better name I would describe as 'an angle of error window'. I mean by this that a couple of degrees either side of the optimum angle makes little difference to the way the razor cuts. IMHO this window is tiny with the Schick Adjustable, a little bit out one way and it scrapes and a little out the other and it does not cut. Like everything else shaving related these are just my views and I have no more right to be correct than anybody else.

Regards
Dick.

Hi Dick
Both the PAL Adjustable & the Injectomatic are transformed by Chinese Schick blades..Most folks are finding this and its a general consensus..Most folks in the UK wont pay the money for them..The Schick Type E Injectors are far more useable with these Chinese blades an all..I agree with you..The PAL Injectors can be vicious with a Personna blade & so can the Type E s..o_O

There is a Pass Around PAL Adjustable thread over on B & B that has been running for months and a lot of folks cant use it..The PAL Adjustable is a very subtle injector but when folks get it the Angle they like it..In my humble opinion it was & still is the finest injector ever made..Might even be the finest razor ever made..Certainly one of them anyway..As far as Forums Go there has been a lot of negative stuff in the past about PAL Injectors that is just down to folks Parroting negative comments that have carried over from Forum to Forum because they are indeed Almighty Shavers..

Since I started Bumping my Gums about them I know there has been at least 40 to 50 folks bought them that I have been in touch with alone..Hell the folks from the USA at the moment are even having Bidding Wars even over the ones in the UK..The PAL Adjustables are also selling like Hot Cakes at the moment..A lot of folks are calling them the Schick Busters..:D
