How on earth can you resist the urge to try out a new acquisition. I have heard of folk having a second Shave just to try the new one out.
I have a backlog of new acquisitions.

Gem G bar, Gibbs Adjustable, a razorrine type of thing, a wardonna bakelite & a Schick Type C, a few soaps & blades even a Gillette Fusion ball thing with the normal fusion head & this new two blade sensitive head.

Has everyone received their orders of this item? I thought I’d give the Core a try at $20 plus postage. Ordered on the 16th, and I received my delivery today. instead of the advertised offer, I received 3 packs of Feather blades & a plastic micro blade disposer case.
Not best pleased

Good to know Rob, hope your enjoying yours. I’ve fired an email to their support address and hope their customer service and support are better than their order and despatch team.
Good luck, I know it’s annoying, especially if you’re really looking forward to trying a new toy, but I always try to remember that it only takes a moment of distraction for someone to pick up the wrong box (or, more likely these days, assign the wrong barcode) and that generally it can all be sorted out.

As for the razor, It’s ok, very well matched to the feather as you’d expect. I get very, very good results from it, but I find it a bit soulless, tbh. I can’t really criticise it in any objective way, because it is a very good razor, but subjectively, I prefer a razor that I think might bite...:D

I expect you’ll end up keeping those blades as a “courtesy”, and you’ll need them because they only last for 2 shaves.

Thanks for the reply Rob, yes i am expecting that kind of “soulless“ experience from this razor, but for the price I thought I’d try it as a really quick shave or travel option, in the best case scenario.

In that case you won’t be disappointed, it’s certainly efficient and quick, and I think it would make a great travel razor because of that. Hope that OneBlade sort you out soon!
