Old Man Trousers

Usually wear a suit ""When"" I go out. Have always worn high waisted trousers; but NOT the Norther Soul 10 button type. 1930/50's is my style; and think Frank Sinatra (Rat pack); whether they be linen; chinos; formals or suit trousers; always high waisted. Winter; always wear RM William's high waist light mole skins (although they have now unfortunately removed hip/side brass popper that kept the pocket flap up; which was totally unique). There was a similar post on here some time ago about the fish tail back trouser; another classic. Never worn Farah's; they seem to me for people that really do not like or feel uncomfortable in formal trousers and would really prefer to be in jeans (denims) and I believe that this is what they were originally designed for, back in the 70's BUT definitely not for me. They are after all low waisted and have the scooped pockets similar to jeans and they used to have an orange tab; just so one could recognise and belong to the "Farah" club.

Must admit I love chinos; always look stylish; used to wear them to work every day combined with a linen shirt. Can't stand Farah's, for reasons previously stated; but everyone to there own. Farah's were originally produced for people that preferred to wear jeans and felt uncomfortable in formal or semi-formal trousers.
30 Pairs is a lot, but Sabre doesn't do things by half! He also has the same number of polo shirts! AND, quality gear as well!

Well, I know that the polo's are all different colours of sorts. Obviously Sabre does not have any weight fluctuations; unless of course he is like Tom Jones, who used to order the same suit in three different sizes, depending how the diet was going at the time!
I have now stopped buying clothes and footwear, have enough (obviously apart from consumables); BUT funny enough, I do need some more chinos; wore the previous four pairs to destruction!

You eat some of your clothes? I seem to remember someone was marketing edible knickers a while back.
I emailed Kylie Minogue quite a few request but she never sent anything.

Great one Dave!; consumables does have other meanings, but with clothes it is usually socks, pants underwear etc; in the electrical industry it is usually lamp bulbs, fuses etc; mechanical/plumbing: taps, washers etc; automotive: fuel etc; butchery: knives etc, etc
You are quite correct; they did once make edible underwear, evidently there's still a market for Razor Ruddock's!
