I'm on my 4th bar of SV bath soap. A few have unusual scents, but these can obviously be avoided buying in store, but apart from that I can't fault them.

I'm on my 4th bar of SV bath soap. A few have unusual scents, but these can obviously be avoided buying in store, but apart from that I can't fault them.

This is the Varesino bath soap in question that I got to use for the first time today. It simply says SOAP on the label. It lathers up a storm and leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean. It has a mild 'soapy' scent, nothing that lingers or that's even detectable as it sits in your bathroom. Other Varesino soaps may well have a stronger scent but I personally like the mildness of this one. Qualitywise it's up there with other Italian bath soaps I've used, which in my book is very good.

£2.99 at TK Maxx for a huge 300 gram bar is a real bargain as far as I'm concerned. I may go back for more!

A nice old razor that I bought a few weeks ago. I thought the marks near the edge may give me problems, turned out to be nothing much and it shaves just fine.

Rockwell 6c gun metal arrived yesterday. Tried R3 plate today but preferred R4. Ming Shi 2000s arrived today from Ali express. 6 days from order to delivery. No blade alignment problems as far as I can tell. Pretty impressed. Black q shave has the blade alignment problems and will be a spare part donor for the Ming Shi.

Bigger than expected but beautiful brush by yaqi. 28mm tuxedo knot. Very happy with it. Absolute steal for the price.

Yesterday mail called:- Finally got my bare hands on the Gillette Aristocrats No. 66 made in England 1952-53, this vintage razor has cost me my bloody kidney.......... OUCH!!

Tried it this morning. Really enjoyed using it. Very slick and protective. Doubt I could justify buying a kilo as I probably couldn't use it in my lifetime. Lol.
