Occam's Razor-comments, advice, experience, please

The Lad in the post office was great. Checked payment had gone through, then went to look for it in delivery area of depot. Good lad. It looks great in the flesh.

You are. Mine has left HWDC, but Sweet FA after that, as yet.

Certainly looks the business, and I look forward to your opinion of it.
have you had any info yet @Ferrum?
Loading the blade in the razor it rattles and does not seem so secure on 2 dot plate, as in the Video i have put a slight bend in the blade, this seems to stop the rattle.going to wait a bit before i shave with it. i am sure it will be OK.

Just hot-footed it to and from the Post Office. If I had paid online for delivery, the earliest day would be Thursday (why?). By contrast, grab the grey card from the postman, walk to PO, present the card, pay £17.40, grab the package and home again; all within half an hour.

The rattle is a bit disconcerting, but apparently it's nothing to worry about. I plan to give it a go first "as is", and then perhaps try it with a bent blade.
Good job I have a decent set of Wiha miniature screwdrivers for those screws, which I am trying to identify, just in case.

I'm not sure why there's been so much complaining in various forums about loading the blade. The tool works OK, but it's easy enough to load a blade without it.

I really do prefer the look of the V1 handle to the cutout OREN version. Again, I can't see what all the fuss is about the grip, or lack of, on it, but it strikes me that the simplest solution would be knurling along each side of the handle.

First impressions with a Feather Pro and my new tub of Nanny's Signature Vetyver tomorrow, all things being equal.

I too prefer it as is to the OREN, that is a good idea to knurl the handle, I suppose more work is more money. It is a very simple design. I really like it. Feather PB for me going in it as well, I want another go at the Rocnel P. Vector due tomorrow. Apparently the "P" takes some practice.

Good luck with the P.

I am expecting a video Tony :)
