Hi, it is definitely worth practising. My experience of DE shaving - three years now, having shaved for decades with cartridges and electric shavers - is that there is always something new to learn. I shave every day but even then it's only - guessing - five minutes each time. So it takes an awful lot of shaves to build up much experience. If I have shaved for 100 hours over three years it feels like a lot, but if I shaved full time, like a trade, I'd only be in my third week. My point is that it takes a long time to practice and improve.
