Nothing wrong with a 34c.

Nothing right with it either! Had three of the buggers and all had QC issues with misaligned blades, uneven gaps etc. I'll concede they're technically a fine design, hell it's unchanged in 75 years for good reason but as a "go to" it ain't good enough for me... Maybe if they tightened up the quality control.

The one I had was fine, perhaps he got a good one?

If you look at the ridged safety bar on the 3one6 it appears Edwin Jagger took a cue from the Gillette Sensor Excel cartridge. When I use a cartridge razor my choice is the Sensor Excel so I think this will be a good thing.

I am looking forward to getting the 3one6 razor when it becomes available.

I'm up for this too. After leaving my DE89 on the shelf for months whilst I tried other razors, I've gone back to it this week. It definitely gives the most comfortable shave and least irritation out of all I've tried. Really up for a stainless ‘for life' version.

I need to try me DE89 again. I've only ever used it twice when I was testing 7 o'clock yellows across a few razors. Not really enough time to get to know the razor.
