New DE razor from King C Gillette

Despite the hundreds I've spent on shaving gear in the past year, I've properly got my arse in my hand over this £2.60 for some reason. I've actually emailed Gillette to refund me the difference :ROFLMAO:

What's wrong with me!?
So, Gillette have messaged me back along the lines of 'tough shit mate'. Oh well. I'm impressed they managed to read my incensed message though with its numbers that replaced letters during a furious sausage fingered assault of my phone's on-screen keyboard.

Now I'm going to grow up and find something worthwhile to get angry about!

Mine arrived in the post today. Nicely packaged, total weight 105g, with handle weight 73g. Very shiny finish, but grip in handle appears adequate. I'll probably give it a run out in the morning. The blade guard refers to reading the manual before use - but no manual included. Who can I sue.....

Perhaps the manual is sold separately. o_O

I've just used mine. To give some perspective I tend to use an Aristocrat or DE89 both of which are fairly mild, that said I've worked though quie a few DE razors over the years. The handle is longer and the weight of the new Gillette is more than both of my usual razors. I used my standard blade a Supermax Stainless so that I was comparing like for like. My over all impression is that its an excellent razor, maybe my new go to, the handle length felt unusual at first but the shave was superb, close and very comfortable; which given that I hadn't shaved since Sunday night is even better. Probably the best £16 I've spent in a while.

Would've been even better if you had spent £13.40 on it.

But we didn't and that's ok. I'm over it....
