New Blade Choice

Hello Chaps

I worked my way through a Connaught sampler pack of 8 brands and the stand out blade for me is the Feather and for about the last 3 months I have not used anything else. However I need to expand my horizons and could anybody make suggestions of blades to trial.

I know blade selection is down individual preference but to give you an indication of my preferences, I really liked Gillette Swedes, Yellow 7 o'clock & Derbys. My dislikes are Dorco's, Wilkinson Sword, Merkurs.

Well - I feel obliged to say "Gillette Super Thin" at this point and move right along.

Were the "Swedes" from Connaught's sample pack?

If you like a Feather then Kai's are nearly there for sharpness, Astra Superior Plat's are an all round good guy.

Super Iridium and Kai have to be in the same family with Feathers.

I've been getting on very well with Super Iridiums recently: my face can handle them on an every day basis, which I can't say for Feathers, unfortunately.

Thanks guys; the Swedes were from Connaught sampler pack but about from 9 months ago. Where can I get Super Iridium and Kai's from?

Connaught for Super Iridium; Ollie knows about Kais, and if he fancies having another go at organising a group buy, I'm up for it.
