Welcome aboard, mate. I don't know the Karve, but the R41 (V3, 2013) is a beast and probably the most aggressive razor. But with the right blade and a good technique, it is at the same time 'quite' mild. But really be on the qui vive, as you feel the blade on your skin very strongly.
