That's another zamak crapper that'll break off just like the one he's got.A Merkur 34C HD is a very nice other option for anyone who likes a DE89.
If I dropped my 34 in the sink, it would be the sink that lost. That's another zamak crapper that'll break off just like the one he's got.
The Karves are great Razors and you can change the plates.A Karve or a Razorock Game Changer 84. Out of the two the Karve would be my personal choice.
Okay I sold each of mine recently but brilliant razors all the same. Like an 89 on steroids and a natural step up the chain.
That little threaded zamak post has the strength of wet particle board. If I dropped my 34 in the sink, it would be the sink that lost.
One I share shocking build quality, I swear they only released the slant to get rid of the bent ones they made !Terrible razors! Should be melted down and turned in to something much more useful like a door knocker.
Just my opinion though, of course
Another good call the new version is a wonderful razor.I'm going to put in a recommendation of the Muhle Rocca V4. Great razor that is smooth and efficient.
As long as it's not the late Tech with the bevel edge cap, that's more zamak. I like the pre-war all brass Tech with any good three inch brass handle.
