G'day TSR,

Anybody owned a Zenith Chubby Scrubby B27 boar brush 28/55mm knot, I'm asking what is your reviews and thoughts about this boar brush? I'm told from there side of the story outside from P&C forum is by far better than the Semogue SOC, 2000 and Omega version.

I have binned two Zenith 26 mm bleached boars, found them waaay too moppy, but if this is the same knot set much lower, like 55 mm or 57 mm instead of 64 mm, it might be worth a try (but waiting for another handle, got a synt brush from Zenith with this handle and it is a bit chunky)

I also found the cheaper brushes to be too moppy with some hair loss The aluminium handled ones however are excellent. I have a 24 x 57 and a 26 x 57. Both have high density, great backbone and lovely soft tips.

That's largely been my experience of the Zenith boar brushes I have. The unbleached one is less so than the bleached one which I find too moppy, but the tips are incredibly soft. IMO both the brushes would be improved by a lower loft.

I was thinking giving the move Zenith knot to new handle and set it lower one more go but found out that TVB Shaving are not stocking them anymore so where to buy? I have also bought from the factory in Italy but would prefer an EU or even better UK online shop!
