Nanny's Signature Bamboo and White Grape

So I have used this soap a few times now and thought I would share my thoughts.

Of the fragrance I will say little as I'm not good at describing scents, just to say it's a gentle fragrance the bamboo is much stronger to my nose than the grape which adds a sweetness to the mix.

As for the lather, The soap lathers well and the first pass glides on a cloud, however on the second pass the soaps performance seems to degrade and the third pass was almost in shaveable.

I had to make a 4th pass with an Arko stick to finish up!

I wonder if this could be a lathering technique problem or if something else is going on, wrong brush?

I would be interested to hear what other people's experiences with nanny's soaps are, and also if someone with a better nose could describe the scent.

Thanks guys.

In what way was the shave awful? Not enough lather? If so, you didn't load enough soap. Sometimes guys skimp on loading just to boast they only needed 2 swirls.

I definitely used more than two swirls it was probably more like 40, at the end it was close to shaving on bare skin the lather had completely thinned out, have a great Christmas

IMO, it sounds like your brush is holding is too much water before building/making the lather. I have problems along these lines if I add too much water to the lather later on or have too wet a brush.
