Name a typical old geezer scent

re samples: Antonio Puig Quorum, more scent history, moving from the 70s to the early 80s, very much an old geezer smellie.

edit: scent is fading fast, dry down has got bit of a plastic bottle smell, not impressed by the 2018 version of this classic

Lucky for you that I remember this old thread on Basenotes. The photos are long since "dead", but it will help you locate a vintage box on Ebay.
CAREFUL!! The vintage version is a beast!! ;)

re samples: Givenchy Gentleman Edt, from 1974, I have no memories of this one but I get as the name implies a well behaved old geezer's fragrance.

re samples: Rochas Man (1999), if you are looking for a sweet vanilla gourmand lavender scent look no further, this is a no for me but on a woman I would say a yes as a mix of sensual and comforting.

re samples: Christian Dior Eau Sauvage (1966), fresh in an aromatic masculine way, it is often described as a classic, I tend to agree, still not a scent for me but maybe for Satanfriendly :)

Why does the impression of a scent sometimes vary from one day to another even though I am trying to apply the same amount to the same spot on my arm, body chemistry? (fancy way to say arm not 100 % clean :) )
