Micromatic vs Streamline

Just wondering what the differences and similarities are. Is the Streamline just a UK made Micromatic?

I'm really getting to like shaving with SEs and am wondering if it's worth adding a Streamline to the collection.

A sentiment that seems to be shared by all who have had the pleasure of owning or using a Streamline.

I still have a few Streamline sets for sale and also Micromatics but they are definitely not the same!

Right I have now used both the Streamline and the Gem Micromatic O/C and as I have now stated on my 1912 thread have now found the Micromatic O/C has given me the best shave I have had to date. It might be of interest that is after 1 shave with the Micromatic, many shaves with the Streamline and the 1912 has been my razor of choice for weeks now.
To say I was surprised by the Micromatic would be an understatement, just the weight of the razor resulted in a smooth irritation free shave, although it probably helped I have been using an SE for weeks now.
