Merkur Vision

As purchaser of said razor from Vic I'll chip in with my 2p.
It's big and heavy but it gives great shaves, though it demands respect and it will nick you if your attention wanders. I bought it for the same reason others have mentioned - a must-try razor, cool looks etc. It took me over a week to get the hang of using it properly, and if I'm perfectly honest, the size of the head does make it awkward to do the little bits under the nose. Not impossible, just awkward, though not much more so than the Futur. I can get as good a shave, or better, with my Merkur HD and it takes less time/attention. I have plenty of other razors to choose from, including vintage Gillettes, some of which give outstanding shaves, but for now the Vision is my current favourite (I resist using that horrble merkin expression 'go-to' razor :x )

Again, as others have said, there are many ways to skin a cat, and I may pass on the Vision after using it for a while. Watch this space :)
