MdC clone soap give away

Chris aka @Boycie83 very kindly sent on Bazz's soap to me as he knows I am a big Fan of Mdc so would relish the chance to try Bazz's soap.

So for a few days I rotated it with Mdc Original (Probably my favourite Soap of All).

Here are my thought for what they are worth.

On initial inspection the soap is a lot softer than the Mdc and has more of a texture to it , don't know if that is good or bad just a difference.

It has a nice scent to me a little citrus and it is there button overpowering.

Now this it definitely shares with Mdc a damp brush audit literally explodes into a very nice lather.

My first shave with it I thought it lacked slickness , but on the second realised it needs more water than the Mdc and it wash my mistake for using it too dry , as many of you know I suffer a little with my skin being sensitive to some soaps, not a flicker from Bazz's though.

I found it created a plentiful lather that was slick and comfortable, the only point I can say that it didn't compare to the Mdc and I am being really picky , is I love the cleanness of Mdc lather on the face and the Bdc (had that kind of soapy film that soaps like Wickham's for instance share) and this was born out by the sink with a distinct ring of soap residue that you don't get with soaps like Mdc.

The post shave feel for me was excellent but again maybe just one notch down.

So in Summary

Would I buy it if it were commercially available ? Absolutely ! I think Bazz did a great job on his soap as I say the couple of minor negatives are only because I was comparing it to what in my opinion is the best soap I have ever used.

Also Bazz made one lot and Mdc have made a fair few I am sure , so to be that close is testament to Bazz's skill.

Thanks @Boycie83 for the chance to try it.

**** Edit ****

Oh and just to add , I used it with 2 Different, Cadman Synthetic Brushes ( I only have Synths). I used these 2 as they are both good quality and I know them very well.
