Martin De Candre - Plastic...?

Is it just me, or is MDC now making its jars out of plastic, rather than glass? My current Fougere certainly doesn't feel as weighty in the hand, and it responds to a flick of the finger with a plasticky 'click', rather than the 'ting' of glass.

The soap is still of the same high quality, and a jar still lasts a thousand years, but the plastic gives a cheaper feel to what (given its price tag) must be considered a luxury brand.

Harumph!

Mine are indeed in plastic but it is a high quality and resistant one...not as eco friendly but you will be happy it is so if your jar ever slip out of your hand. And to be honest, I don't think they look cheap, but that is personnal

It's been a few years they've changed their packaging to that quality looking plastic.
Yes, the earlier years MdC was in the nice glass jars, which are pretty heavy to ship of course.
While the 'new' jar does a great job, glass is glass and the earlier packaging will be missed.
