Lockdown lathering videos

Lockdown boredom took hold over the weekend and I recently got a tripod so thought I'd set it up and play about making some lathering videos. Now fear not I'm not about to venture into full on shave videos as I have a face for radio and not confident enough to talk to camera.

The first attempt was a car crash but I think I got it fairly ok after a few attempts. Excuse the free music provided by YouTube and I hope these videos might help some just starting out.

If I get bored I'll even try some with other soaps and brushes. I have pretty hard water here which some of my northern friends said was apparent in the video.

After bowl lathering for a week, I went back to face lathering. MUCH quicker to make a wonderful lather. Can feel it becoming creamy and rich.

I started off bowl lathering, now I'm the same as you. Can't get a decent bowl lather at all.

What is the bowl you have your videos. They seem to have a hole which suggests your can pour hot water in to keep your lather warm.

Its a Q shave scuttle which you can fill with water for warm lather. It is based on the Crown King scuttle but a bit cheaper, I got it from AliExpress.
