L'Occitane Cade Shaving soap Discontinued!

Hello Folks,

Dunno if anyone one is a fan of the Cade shaving soap from L'Occitane?
Well sadly (for me at least) it has been discontinued. I really liked the scent and performance..and the UFO/flying saucer style bowl.

Oh well.

Thanks for the info..This was always on my 'want to try list'...I have heard some good things about this soap. Maybe some of the boutique shops may have stock left.

Yeah it was a good soap...it might still be available in the U.S until stock runs out.

That's good...but it has been confirmed it has been discontinued. My sister told me as she often picks me up a puck when she is in store but they told her it is discontinued. Gutting as this is a great soap. I will have to check the local stores as I'd like to get another of the metal containers as the one I had suffers greatly from corrosion.

Whilst I love the bowl and a lot of L'Occitane products I always found that soap rather drying.

I'm not overly surprised - they jacked the price up immensely over the last 5 years. Went from £4.50 for the first one I bought to £12.50 for the last one about 12 months ago...

RIP Cade, at list we can still all get Palmolive sticks. Imagine how many you can get for the price of the posh French.

That would explain why there's a guy selling Cade in the aluminium tin on eBay for £42 a pop. I wondered why his prices were so expensive!!!

That's unfortunate, had planned on trying the Cade but never got around to purchasing a puck. How's the cream in comparison to the soap? Is it pretty much the same performance/scent wise?
