Quick review. Forgot to pack my kit, when we went away, the other week.
Went to the local Lidl and picked up the four quid kit and a tin of Gillette gel.
The shave was brilliant. Two pass BBS. The second shave was not as good, needing a bit of polishing on my problem areas.
Now to the third shave, yesterday. I think the blade is shot. Owchie!
Two shaves seem to be it, for me. Given the cost, that's OK, however the Gillette guard blade is on it's tenth use and the Personna in my injector is somewhere around that, too.
By the way, the Gillette gel works just fine, for me - just got to judge the amount better. A surprisingly tiny blob is enough to cover my face in a really good, thick lather and give a comfy shave.
I'll go in and shut my door now. ;-)
