Thanks Crom. They are from Clarks. Don't know the style but the number inside the tongue (?) is 071013292. Don't know if they still make that sort, I got them a year or two ago.

My favourites are a well-worn pair of tan Grenson Stanley brogues.

Unfortunately, I spend so much money on 'clobber' I can't afford a camera.

I might draw a picture though, if I can find my orange crayon!!!

One of the few positives that I learned at work was 'shoe care' . I don't think that people realize that one of the things at people notice about you are your shoes.
I would have professional clinical staff with scuffed unpolished shoes- men and women. For over 30 yrs I alway had a cabinet in the office with various shoe polishes and brushes that staff could access. Amazing how many would use it though the years.

My father used to make me clean my shoes when I got in from school, so I have an obsession with clean shoes. Even white trainers have to be cleaned, but I must admit to cheating on trainers and using baby wipes.

Might be interesting to see what methods we use to get our shoes ready for the Winter. I just bought a new tin of Mink Oil to start 'doing' my winter shoes. I Usually give then a good polish with Kiwi or the like, and then the Mink Oil.

i wear my doc martins all year round
