Kamisori AC blades-anyone still buying and/or using these?

Quite some time ago, when AC style razors (Mongoose, Cobra etc.) came out, I bought some Kamisori AC blades from Yoiscissors in Scotland. This source no longer lists them, and I'd be interested to know if anyone here is still buying them, and from where.

If anyone is using them, how do you rate them against the Feather and Kai blades? I still have a partially-full injector of them, and put one in a Hawk V2, as I hadn't used that combination for ages. The result was disappointing, as the initial shave was, to be generous, a bit on the rough side.

Never used those, maybe you should try the Schick Proline P-30 blades, my favorite amongst the many different ones on the market
Thanks for your reply. As a rule, I use the Schick, Kai and Feather AC blades, in almost all variations, but found these Kamisoris among the aforementioned in my razor blade drawer, and thought I'd give them another try. One of the attractions of them at the time was that they were slightly less expensive than Feathers etc., but I'm inclined to think that any cost savings were nullified by the lesser quality.

They seem to have dropped from sight at the places where I used to see them for sale, and likewise don't get mentioned in forums, but Kamisori Inc still list them at £14 for the 24-blade dispenser. I was really just curious to know if they had indeed faded from view.

I still have them and use them occasionally. They are, indeed, pretty rough on first use. I found they smooth out on day 3 and last well thereafter.
I think your experience with these closely follows mine, and they do seem to tone down a bit after a few uses. I've tried "corking" them, and also leather-stropping them before first use, but neither seems to make any difference to the initial harshness.

I'll see how this session goes, and perhaps I'll buy some more; if, indeed, that's possible under present circumstances.

The cheapest blades I found where the Korean “Dorco” very good blades half the price of others unfortunately I don't know where to get them now

Maggard has Dorco blades. Can't tell if their Korean or something else

Thank you.
This line on the Maggards site is a bit confusing:

"NOTE: They do not fit the Blackland Vector, ATT SE1 or most other single edge razors. "

Being curious and with nothing better to do, I checked the Blackland Web site to find

Compatible Blades: Feather Professional, Feather ProGuard, Feather Pro Super, Kai Captain, Kai Captain Titan Mild, Kai Captain Titan ProTouch MG, Kai Captain Sharpblade, Kamisori, Schick Proline P-30
