What a great end to 2018 / beginning of 2019. I won the 2018 Christmas PIF over at TOST. Two parcels arrived yesterday from across the water.
In one package, a cased 1907 GEM Junior, a NOS Burma Shave 'Holiday Gift Pack' containing soap, mug and brush. and a pack of Treet Super CS blades.
The other package, a GEM Contour (foreground) and Contour II, a second pack of Treet Super CS blades and a cake of Williams Mug.
I am overwhelmed and so lucky, what generosity. My grateful thanks to those concerned.
Look out for my upcoming shaves

Oh, the Burma pack (will he, won't he) will be revealed soon

Superb haul, Arthur! Kicking 2019 off to a great start!

I've treated myself an Omega 13109 Pure Badger brush as a Christmas and New Year gift. I've used it once so far and it is good. I always use and prefer boar brushes but occasionally I use badger brushes especially with creams, in my badger brush rotation I have a simpsons wee-scot and Duke, Vulfix 660 Medium and Artamis mixed badger. Among them Vulfix is my favourite and this Omega is very close to my Vulfix both in size, shape and stiffness(backbone). So the handle is same as 10066 boar brush which is my favourite brush for £26 posted is reasonable in my opinion and I would recommend this Omega to anyone looking to buy a mid-low price badger brush.

Just arrived! Observations :
Consistency : more creamy than liquid;
Scent : xmas eve very good and barbershop quite sweet (seems to be more like a sweetshop than a barbershop)! Scent strength almost null (especially if you compare with proraso ones) ;

Pros: a tiny little bit it's enough (probably will least my whole life) for a shaved head.

Cons: basically zero scent strength and price (for similar price you can buy a proraso ones.
