Is there life after OSP?

I'll 3rd... MWF, way over hyped. Great name and marketing story etc.... pony soap!.
I highly rate Wickhams and recently enjoying Fine accoutrements Italian citrus... nice scent good lather. It's a tallow base and I was worried it might disappoint like MWF but it didn't, it lathers very well.
Glad to hear about Le Pere Lucien, I'm currently waiting for some of that. Will post results.

Have you tried blooming it? I've never had any issues and it feels great to me!
Yes I have as with all soaps I try. It's just my honest experience, that there are far better hard soaps out there, which is what the gentleman who started the thread is looking for. But it seems to have become yet another promotion for M yawn WF
Not disenchantment just glad I've tried it and moved onto better things. Such as Musgo Real, Edwin Jagger and the many Razorocks. All fairly ok but average soaps. All also better and easier to use than MWF , IMHO. I accept your disagreement.

Would appreciate some recommendations of hard soaps with at least equal performance to OSP?
Up to now I have tried Tabac and Geo F Trumper and although they are good they are not outstanding like OSP.
Thanks in anticipation

The English shaving company still have some OSP in stock.

I'd recommend the following:

Martin De Candre

Eufros

Fine Accoutrements soaps and matching aftershaves

Saponificio Varesino

Declaration Grooming (Bison Tallow base)

Noble Otter

I liked OSP and tried many samples. I loved their Orange/Patchouli. However, they are no more and there are gobs of other artisans vying for your money with mountains of shave soap nowadays. A mere perusal of the Soap sub forum here on TSR will more than offer one the opportunity to vacate their cash coffers. ;)
