Is Arko Your Marmite?

There are a few Turkish shaving sticks I've been after, mainly for the picture of the guy with a beard of lather on his face.

I'm not sure why but they are a delight to look at.

Shame they seem to be quite difficult to get hold off in the UK at least.

That one is GZD and to be honest I didn't come across to Derby stick/bowl and Camelot and GZD in Turkey, I bought them from UK ebay, there used to be a British person posting them from Istanbul/Turkey

Yes I remember there used to someone on Ebay selling them, and there used to be a site (bestshave I think?) that used to stock a few Turkish shaving sticks and I really regret not getting any of them.

Ah well, I still have a lot of shaving soap stored away!

No question, it is an awesome soap, and incredibly cheap. Not sure why anyone should hate it, even if they prefer other soaps.

Aussie Vegemite is not shit, (that's) because the bloody French doesn't have the balls to eat it the correct way.

I've only recently tried Arko as was curious about it. Grated it into a bowl. Lathered by the Marco method. The performance of Arko is fantastic , as good as some expensive ones, and after a week of use, my skin is in great condition.
I do wish it was a little less clinical scent wise, but I suspect if it had a decent scent, it would be considered top tier soap.
I was very surprised.
