iPhone 3.0 software - wi-fi reception worse?

Hi all,

Since upgrading my iPhone 3G's software to version 3.0, I've noticed that the wi-fi signal strength is much worse in my flat than before. I used to get full strength throughout! Now, in my bedroom, the phone is on 1-2 bars, my laptop sat right next to it has 100%!

Has anyone else noticed this? My other computers are fine, so it's not the router or anything.

It might be time to get you're own wireless internet connection instead of hijacking your neighbours

Have you noticed any loss of connection quality apart from the signal strength display? I suspect that the new firmware may have just re-jigged the signal meter display, and you probably aren't getting any worse signal than before.
