What are your day wear fragrances? I love the L'Occitane Verbena range, James Bronnley Original/Gentleman EDT, Aqua Citra, my new Ferrari fragrances - Radiant Bergamot.

My go to office frags are MFK Masculin Pluriel, YSL L'Homme Ultime and Tom Ford Grey Vetiver but none of those are inexpensive. One cheapie that I bought this year and works as both an office and a daytime scent is Azzarro Chrome Aqua. I really dislike the original Chrome, but the more I wear this one the more I like it. Can be had here for £16

Actually the other office scent I wear which can also be found online for a decent price is Dunhill Icon. I find the cheapest way to buy it generally is in a gift set which will then give you a shower gel and an aftershave balm so works out good value. The bottle is a thing of beauty too if that sort of thing floats your boat!

+1 Jacques Bogart Signature
+1 Worth Pour Homme

Some others to consider:
Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui (very similar to Antaeus: leather with a touch of rose, very office appropriate though)
Bijan for Men
Tabac Original
Giorgio Beverley Hills
Cacharel L'Homme

Still quite cheap and probably among my favourites: Boucheron Pour Homme, or the similar smelling Cerrutti 1881.

I have the Boucheron, and agree it's ideal for day wear.

I haven't worked in an office for around 4 years but these were always great and still are:
  • Mont Blanc Individuel
  • Davidoff Cool Water EDT
To test: walk past any working office fan and then watch the women's reactions from a few yards away as they get a hint of the scent. Problem is they always used to assume it was someone else! I picked loads of women up ...for other people:oops:

In the 90's my female office colleagues swooned over Dior Fahrenheit.

I wouldn't have a clue as to office politically correct scents, but cheap...........

Banana Republic - Neroli woods - Can be picked up exceptionally cheap. Probably the best orange/neroli fragrance I have found
Colonia Fiorentina by Profumo di Firenze 1954 - Found well priced on E-Bay. Zesty and green. Huge statement of a bottle
The Bath House - Spanish fig and nutmeg - Be different
The Bath House - Cuban Cedar and lime - Again, go on be different

Oh, I forgot to mention: Hollister is ok around £12 for 50ml, and it might be worth checking out Lidl. There's some blind smell tests of their X-Bolt (£3.99 at the time )vs Hugo Boss (£39.99)...hardly anything between them and several seemed to prefer the Lidl stuff. Just goes to show.

And...in M&S you can buy 100ml of Woodspice aftershave splash for £7.50. On the same shelf, sat right next to it is 100ml Woodspice AS plus the shower gel for...£7.50. I asked if they made a mistake and they said no...must be a promotion. I checked and it's the same on the M&S website...weird pricing strategy.
Anyhow, the shower gel has reasonable longevity without being as overpowering as body sprays, whilst a dab or two of the splash after shaving (or even as a cologne) tops it off nicely. Lots of people seem to like woodspice and this seems like a great price for the two items.
