A bit on Glycine pinched from Chronomaster;
Glycine is a small Swiss company formed in 1914 in Bienne Switzerland, by the distinguished and revered Meylan family, who have been associated with watch making for centuries, and have been responsible for many designs still in production or recognised today across a range of big band watch companies. Glycine carry on the Swiss tradition of craftsmanship, unique design and the highest quality precision timepieces. They are best known for the 24 hour Glycine Airman which was, first produced in 1953. They remain enthusiastic and at the forefront of unique and bold new designs.

So no connection to Accurist as far as I know.

Over 24hrs gained or lost, zero time!! I've never that level of accuracy except with a quartz.

Interesting that you say that about quartz. Years ago I thought I really needed a Rolex. Got one new from a jeweler friend I had. I noticed that it did loss a few seconds every whatever. We sent it back to Rolex twice, the third time the factory rep told my friend that a Rolex was a chronometer and that if I wanted perfect time to buy a Timex Quartz!

Automatic movements are notorious for losing time but you never have to wind or replace the battery. Pros and cons.

Lovely looking watch, but Boab is right those automatic swiss movements they are not very reliable for keeping accurate time, quite a lot of Swiss watches all use the same ETA movement, I myself purchased a Oris Swiss divers watch quite a few years back with a automatic movement, it drove me up the wall I had serviced with watches of Switzerland and then quickly sold it on.
