Do any of you wonderful pogonotomsts out there have any tips for making witch hazel smell nice? I have used some essential oils, my current is a mixture of mostly lavender with a splash of tea tree.
I am just about to run out do you have any suggestions? What do you use? Cheers

lavender ,camomile, tea tree ,cedarwood+ 5grams of menthol crystals ( to feed my menthol addiction ) any more than 5grms tends to get a bit gritty per 200ml bottle, also my father swears by 50/50 witch hazel & boots rose water ,too floraly for myself tho. experiment & find what suits your face carefull tho essential oils are strong no more tha 6 drops or so or they may irritate your skin

Is that 6 drops of each essential oil or total of 6 drops of say cedar, lavender and tea tree? And where does one get glycerine or aloe Vera gel?
Thank you!

I simply add 2/3rds witch hazel with 1/3rd aloe vera gel, a few drops of tea tree oil and shake vigorously to combine, makes a pleasant thin gel that is easy to handle and apply.

Aloe vera gel can be picked up in health food stores such as Holland & Barrett.
