I appreciate this may be difficult to identify on Photos !

I have a Grizzly Bay Synthetic Brush that has this knot in it that I really like. See the first 2 pics.

Then I have the Brush in the last 2 that is by Wild West brush works , I love the handle but the knot I don't get along with.

So I was wondering could I change the knot in the Wild West brush for the same types as in the Grizzly Bay Brush.

Does anyone know what type of knot that is and where I could get one ? Secondly what is the best way to remove the existing Knot from the Wild West Brush ?

Thanks all.

By Russ you're a wild 1!
Ok my favourite Synth knot came with my Ti outlaw it's a G4.
I am led to believe a hot water soak and a good tug (with pliers) will relive the knot from the handle. Apparently you need a good clear epoxy resin to set your new knot. Check and sight before going for it.
That's my pass.
Experts please advise.

Hi Russ. I'm no expert but your preferred knot looks like the Yaqi Faux Horse knot found on the rainbow brush. I'll call in @donnie_arko for a second opinion as he also likes that knot.

I agree with Tony about the Frank Shaving G4 knot - I have the same knot in one of the FS handles and it's fantastic.

It does look quite a bit like my Faux Horse knot in my Yaqi Rainbow brush.

Also Russell,

You can get the Faux Horse knot from Maggards
