Hawkins and Brimble cream

I saw this cream in my local Superdrug for £7, £11 on some sites ,, so took a chance on 2 tubs.
The tins are metal with 100g of very soft cream. Best to scoop a bit in the lid to load the brush as I suspect any water from a damp brush would shorten the life . I've done 2 shaves.
The cream has a slight pink tinge and there only seems one scent, Elmi and ginseng. Not strong, probably like Haslinger strength, but very pleasant and not soapy smell which some cheaper soaps are.
I face lather and the lather gave great glide and protection, no nicks or irritation, I should say this is after using SV, Meißner soaps.
2 passes plus touch up with ATT R1 razor left my skin smooth and soft.
This is a very nice cream. Ì hope they do a hard soap one day. I believe sone other UK retailers stock this.

Same shop and bought the aftershave balm today. Again cheap and very nice for what it cost. May have to try the cream

I found this cream quite solid, but not outstanding. Speick and Musgo Real work better for me. I also had a burning sensation on my lips at the beginning, probably due to the ginseng or elemi, but that went away during the 3017 treatment. And at just over 10 EUR for 100ml it is not really inexpensive either. Therefore I will not buy it again.

I saw this last year, along with face wash and a few other bits in the range. It seemed for weeks the display hadn't changed and no one was buying. They reduced all the products and I pounced on the face wash and shave cream. It was nice enough and done a good job, I just prefer other makes. Always nice to have a change.

Ive not used to cream but the Hawkins and Brimble aftershave balm is quite nice. Good scent and leaves the face feeling smooth and moisturised.

I was gifted a tin of the cream a while ago
I've used it once, and it performed quite well aside from slickness . The scent was quite pleasant, about 5/10 in strength
post shave, it felt quite good too
I wouldn't buy it at full price though, as it's quite expensive, and there's better creams for the price

Bought the cream in Waitrose last week for £6.60. I've used it 3 times now and find it to be excellent. Nice scent when lathered. For me it performs really well. At the moment it is my goto cream. (Rockwell 6c (6 plate), Nacet blade).
I also bought the balm. Don't get much of a scent from it, however it has a nice cooling feeling when applied and counteracts any irritation well.
I would recommend both.
