...you seem to be missing the point; I agree some non-tallow soaps, perform as well or even better than some tallow soaps but that does not negate other members ability to discriminate regarding differences between tallow and non-tallow versions of a soap especially when they view the tallow version to be better. Do you really think members are exhibiting "moral panic...toys out of the pram stuff...tallow purists" or it is "psychosomatic"...when they do assert a difference in favour of tallow?

I was wanting to know what these differences are. However, I fear this is becoming circular. I'll leave it at that.

Then as I said before...your question has been answered many times on this forum and others...google is your friend if you still do not know the differences others assert...
