Hand stropping

Do any of you guys hand strop your SE blades?

If yes, do you do it;

with a brand new blade only? or, after/before every shave??

Not me, I don't hand strop any blade with which I shave.

I've tried it. Didn't seem to achieve much.

Right from the horse mouth, so to speak::OLD KEEN KUTTER RAZOR INSTRUCTIONS ' the life of your blade depends a great deal on the care you give them... Wipe the blade on a towel. Do not attempt to dry the edge this way. * Dry the heel of your hand thoroughly and STROP the blade on it as shown in the picture.'
It shows the person holding the back edge of the SE stropping it on his palm!
