Hi,

Just thought I'd post this up in case anybody was interested. Union coffee are doing half price beans here:

I got 4 bags for 13 quid which is a pretty good deal. Only tried the union espresso blend so far. Very dark!
 
Glad to help. I think the blends require a bit of rest time before use. It's been 7 days since I received them and they are producing much nicer espresso now than before.
 
I treated myself to 500g of the Yemen Matari beans which are normally £9.65 for 500g and I've been wanting to try a Yemeni coffee for a long time. I believe the code is actually LAT not LAF, or it was when it was posted up on CFUK where I saw it 1st.

Hot Tip as it's only supposed to be for 1st orders from Union if you already have ordered from them previously just don't log in and checkout as a guest and the code still works.
 
What's the usual Union experience, it says on the pack they were roasted and packed yesterday so the'll need to degas if that's the case.
 
It kind of depends on the bean and the roast level as well as what method you are brewing with, for darker roasts longer rest times, if making as brewed not espresso you can use much sooner, but I would be inclined to wait a week at least.
 
Thanks, I don't think I care for the REvelation blend nonetheless...if anybody wants to swap ( just opened + new) for something I don't have PM me, I like the Foundation blend so far so looking forward to that improving with age.
